IBB Ingenieurgesellschaft receives commission for the fire protection planning of a laboratory building

IBB Ingenieurgesellschaft mbH is commissioned to draw up the fire protection concept for the construction of a new laboratory building for a pharmaceutical company in Ludwigshafen.

The client is investing over 150 million euros in a modern research center at its site, thus enabling research at the highest level in the future.

IBB's engineers have already set to work and are developing initial concepts to meet the client's desire for the largest and most transparent laboratory space possible. A significant proportion of the planning work will involve fire protection planning for the many interfaces to the laboratory technology. In addition, there are safety systems such as fire extinguishing systems, alarm systems and equipment for room air monitoring.
